SCS SB 1084 -- HEALTH CARE FOR UNINSURED CHILDREN

This bill extends the expiration date of the Children's Health
Insurance Program (CHIPs) established by the Department of Social
Services to pay for health care for uninsured children from
July 1, 2007, to June 30, 2008.

The expiration date of the financial assistance for the
Consumer-directed Personal Care Services Program is extended from
June 30, 2006, to June 30, 2008.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
